When lessons begin, the first month's tuition is split: you pay the platform service fee, and the remaining lesson fees go directly to the tutor; from the second month, tuition is paid in full to the tutor and the platform is not involved. Your total outlay matches the tutor's listed rate. Any refund has a SGD 5 payment handling fee deducted, made clear before you pay.
Tell us why, and we'll help you rematch with another tutor, with fees calculated for the new tutor. The rules follow the Terms of Service and what we explain before payment.

The lesson fee matches the listed rate; going through the process adds credential checks and dispute mediation.
